Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Merit Health Wesley and Merit Health Medical Group. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain high-quality images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Select and operate appropriate imaging techniques and console and peripheral hardware.
  • Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images from disk to magnetic media, and develop film in an automatic processor.
  • Work under general supervision, relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Perform a variety of tasks, including operating the MRI scanner and maintaining equipment.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 1 year of experience in the field or a related area.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.).
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
