We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry Unit at Northwell Health. Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' physiologic health status and develop a plan of care to address their needs.
- Conduct patient interviews, explain policies and procedures, and review patient charts to ensure accurate and effective care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and implement treatment plans.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families, and educate them on their condition and treatment options.
- Participate in patient and family education, and provide discharge instructions to ensure a smooth transition to post-hospital care.
- Document patient care and treatment plans accurately and effectively, using standardized documentation tools and methods.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
- BCLS and ACLS certification, preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
