Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry Unit at Northwell Health. Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physiologic health status and develop a plan of care to address their needs.
  • Conduct patient interviews, explain policies and procedures, and review patient charts to ensure accurate and effective care.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and implement treatment plans.
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families, and educate them on their condition and treatment options.
  • Participate in patient and family education, and provide discharge instructions to ensure a smooth transition to post-hospital care.
  • Document patient care and treatment plans accurately and effectively, using standardized documentation tools and methods.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
  • BCLS and ACLS certification, preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
