JOB SUMMARY: The Operations Supervisor is responsible for efficiently managing daily operations to support the Restaurant Manager in achieving key objectives related to customer satisfaction and financial performance.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

  3. Maintains a professional image and complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.
  4. Organizes and cleans workstations to uphold the restaurant's image and meets local health department standards.
  5. Manages cash handling responsibilities and ensures team compliance with safety and security protocols.
  6. Provides guidance and constructive feedback to team members, offering coaching to ensure adherence to operational standards.
  7. Monitors food, labor, and utility costs, ensuring compliance with operational standards during shifts.
  8. Completes daily documentation accurately as per company guidelines.
  9. Follows procedures for opening and closing the restaurant, effectively managing unexpected situations.
  10. Completes additional assignments as directed by the Restaurant Manager, including staffing, training, and maintaining restaurant cleanliness.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Operations Supervisor receives training and direction from the Restaurant Manager and company training resources. They motivate and guide team members to perform their tasks efficiently, ensuring that customer needs are met and satisfaction is prioritized.

They assist the Restaurant Manager in driving sales and managing costs through effective use of operational tools. The role requires troubleshooting operational challenges and implementing effective solutions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 55 pounds.
  • Capability to reach for and move items from various heights.
  • Proficient in safely operating equipment such as kitchen tools and registers.
  • Effective communication skills with customers and team members.
  • Ability to follow instructions and comprehend product specifications.
  • Competence in processing customer orders accurately.
  • Ability to understand and implement training materials and standard operating procedures.
  • Mathematical skills for managing sales totals and inventory.
  • Ability to supervise and motivate a team to achieve operational goals.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for banking or delivery tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Completion of at least 30 days as a crew member.
  • Recommendation from the restaurant manager and evaluation by supervisory staff.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dependable and able to work effectively under pressure.
  • Availability to work approximately 30-40 hours per week and perform essential job functions.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
