About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team at the University of California, Irvine. As an Infant Toddler Center Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our youngest students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and learning practices for infants and toddlers.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with other primary caregivers to ensure continuity of care and promote a culture of teamwork.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education and apply this knowledge in daily program and minute-to-minute decision making.
  • Mentor and support colleagues in their professional growth and development.
Requirements
  • 6 units of Infant Toddler coursework
  • Current California Child Development Program Teacher Permit
  • Current First Aid/CPR certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • More than 6 units in Infant Toddler coursework
