Cayuse Shared Services is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to computer users, resolving computer problems, and managing the full-asset management lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical assistance to computer users, answering questions and resolving computer problems in person, via telephone, or electronically.
- Identify and track user issues, software conflicts, and hardware device conflicts through our IT incident ticketing system, providing resolution and/or escalating to the next tier for assistance.
- Update and maintain a knowledge base for investigating, diagnosing, and resolving incidents as applicable.
- Plan and lead major technology assignments, evaluating performance results and recommending major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
- Deliver 24/7/365 IT technical support to approved seat service users at various locations, ensuring proper configuration, installation, and maintenance of data input/output devices.
- Provide timely restoral and proper maintenance of laptops, tablets, workstations, and peripheral devices.
- Recommend lifecycle replacement of equipment and manage the full-asset management lifecycle from acquisition to disposition in accordance with USACE policies.
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
- 6 years of experience in computer user support.
- Comprehensive knowledge of IT technical support.
- Knowledge of lifecycle replacement of equipment.
- Secret Clearance required.
- COMPTIA Security Certification.
This position requires a professional office environment, with the ability to work varying schedules and extended hours to meet business needs and project deadlines. The ideal candidate will be able to establish a productive and professional workspace, with polished office protocols and high-tempo communication streams.
