Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Providence Saint Mary Medical Center. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests and interpret results
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Respiratory Therapist
  • State licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and push/pull 200 pounds
Work Environment

This is a travel respiratory therapist position, and you will be working in a hospital setting. You will be required to work weekends and may be required to float to other units as needed.
