Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Providence Saint Mary Medical Center. As a Travel Respiratory Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pneumonia.
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and hospital efficiency.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice.
  • ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, CHEMO, EFM, Tech Cert Verification, State License 1 Verification, NURSYS Verification, IV Certification, MAB, NIH Stroke Certification, and CPI certifications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and push/pull 200 pounds.
Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and holidays. The schedule will be discussed in more detail during the interview process.
