Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at Express Employment Professionals of Mount Vernon. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring patients receive exceptional service in a friendly and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized front area, ensuring all necessary materials are readily available.
  • Greet and welcome guests, making them feel at ease.
  • Check in patients, answer questions, and address any concerns or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Answer incoming calls, redirecting them or taking messages as needed.
  • Make confirmation calls to patients to ensure they are aware of their appointments.
  • Receive and distribute letters, packages, and other mail.
  • Prepare outgoing mail by drafting correspondence and securing parcels.
  • Check, sort, and forward emails in a timely manner.
  • Keep updated records and patient files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate records.
  • Schedule appointments and verify insurance eligibility.
  • Assist with COVID-19 health screenings as needed.
Requirements
  • Outgoing and friendly personality, with excellent communication skills.
  • Flexible availability to meet the needs of the dental office.
