Key Responsibilities:

As a Consultant, you will collaborate with Guidehouse's Life Sciences teams, providing support throughout various project phases. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Scheduling and conducting interviews with healthcare professionals, payers, and industry thought leaders.
  • Collecting and analyzing medical literature, healthcare market reports, and relevant databases.
  • Contributing to document preparation, production, and client presentations.
Travel requirements will vary by project, averaging around 20%.

The Life Sciences practice is dedicated to long-term career development. Consultants follow a structured career trajectory, deepening their expertise in healthcare and consulting practices. As you enhance your project management capabilities, you will progress to the Senior Consultant role.

Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree in Science, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare, Business, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of relevant consulting experience.
  • Experience in one or more therapeutic areas: Oncology, Cell & Gene, Immunology, Cardiometabolic.
  • Strong analytical skills (Excel, Access, etc.) with the ability to utilize data for informed decision-making.
  • Advanced experience in data collection, research, and critical thinking.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations across the US, up to 20% of the time.
  • Eligibility to work for any US employer without sponsorship.
  • Completion of two industry-specific case studies as part of the interview process.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for the Healthcare and Life Sciences sectors.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create client-ready deliverables.
  • Capability to understand and convey the clinical and business implications of complex products and services.
  • Team-oriented and collaborative mindset.
The annual salary range for this position is $71,800.00-$107,000. Compensation decisions are influenced by various factors, including skills, experience, training, security clearances, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs.
