About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Team Lead to join our team at Compu Dynamics. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing job site operations, mentoring junior electricians, and acting as a crew leader and/or Foreman as needed. You will also be responsible for installing, maintaining, modifying, and repairing all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment. Additionally, you will locate electrical underground utilities, measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit, troubleshoot issues, and operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage job site operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  2. Mentor and train junior electricians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  3. Lead crew teams and/or act as Foreman as needed, providing guidance and support to team members.
  4. Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
  5. Locate underground utilities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  6. Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit to meet project requirements.
  7. Troubleshoot issues and make recommendations to resolve the situation.
  8. Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment.
  9. Inspect and test electrical system components, including transformers, transfer switches, and switch gears.
  10. Supervise inspections and repairs on Main Power Distribution Systems, Panel Boards, and other electrical systems as needed.
  11. Repair line voltage for all HVAC systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  12. Record and report faults, deficiencies, and unusual occurrences, as well as time and materials expended on work orders.
  13. Conduct tests and inspect equipment, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
  14. Respond to emergency power and back-up systems failures.
  15. Communicate status of jobs, issues, recommendations, etc. to management.
  16. Provide timely and completed documentation of work performed.
  17. Drive company vehicle throughout the service area while following all local laws and regulations.
  18. Operate vehicles and equipment safely, adhering to safety protocols, and reporting hazards and risks.

Requirements:
  1. A High School Diploma or GED is required; 8+ years' experience in the field or related area is preferred.
  2. A Master Electrician license or equivalent electrical training and experience is essential.
  3. A valid driver's license in good standing is necessary for this role.

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000-$110,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
