Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Senior Electrician to join our team at Compu Dynamics. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is looking to contribute their expertise in a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee job site operations and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  2. Mentor and train junior electricians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  3. Act as crew leader and/or Foreman as needed, providing guidance and support to team members.
  4. Install, maintain, modify, and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment.
  5. Locate electrical underground utilities for various projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  6. Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit to meet project requirements.
  7. Troubleshoot issues and make recommendations to resolve the situation, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  8. Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment to perform installations or service to the equipment and/or mechanical system.
  9. Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches, and switch gears, ensuring optimal performance.
  10. Supervise inspections and repairs on Main Power Distribution Systems, Panel Boards, and other electrical systems as needed.
  11. Oversee repair to line voltage for all HVAC systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  12. Record and report all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences, as well as the time and materials expended on work orders.
  13. Conduct tests and inspect equipment, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance, driving excellence in all aspects of the job.
  14. Respond to emergency power and back-up systems failures, prioritizing the safety and well-being of team members and clients.
  15. Effectively communicate status of jobs, issues, recommendations, etc. to management, fostering a culture of transparency and open communication.
  16. Provide timely and completed documentation of work performed, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  17. Drive company vehicle throughout the service area while following all local laws and regulations.
  18. Operate vehicles and other equipment safely, adhering to safety protocols, reporting hazards and risks, and contributing to a safe and secure working environment.

Requirements:
  1. A High School Diploma or GED is required; 8+ years' experience in the field or related area is preferred.
  2. A Master Electrician license or equivalent electrical training and experience is essential.
  3. A valid driver's license in good standing is necessary for this role.

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000-$110,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
