BAS Healthcare is seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our team in providing exceptional care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Located approximately 50 minutes outside of Waco, Texas, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

About the Role

This full-time position is Monday through Friday, with no on-call or after-hours responsibilities required. As a tele-work-friendly environment, you will have the flexibility to work from home two to three days per week, allowing for better work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat psychiatric disorders in residents with intellectual disabilities
  • Perform timely and accurate charting of clinical encounters using our electronic medical records system
  • Justify medication use and ensure compliance with established protocols
