We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse - On-Call Care Specialist to join our team at Carlton Senior Living. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Medication Administration and Medical Treatment: Administer prescribed medications, provide medical treatment, and perform personal care services to residents in Assisted Living and/or Memory Care.
- Assess and Respond to Residents' Changing Health Conditions: Monitor, assess, and respond to residents' changing health and condition, coordinating and evaluating medical needs and/or activities of daily living.
- Develop and Implement Personal Service Plans: Participate in the initial and ongoing development of Personal Service Plans, including Focus areas and Interventions, and communicate updates to other associates, outside health services, and responsible parties.
- Provide Education and Support: Provide educational in-services to enhance associates' knowledge and skills, and support an on-going safety awareness program for residents and associates.
- Manage and Coordinate Resident Requests and Complaints: Manage and coordinate resident and family requests and/or complaints in a professional and timely manner, with sensitivity and a positive attitude.
- Education and Experience: Graduation from an approved vocational nursing or registered nursing program, with experience preferred but not required.
- Certifications and Licenses: California License Vocational Nurse (LVN) and/or California Registered Nurse License (RN), Current First Aid Certification, DOJ and FBI fingerprint clearance, and Health screening and negative TB test.
