Job Title: Economics Instructor

Cape Fear Community College is seeking a qualified Economics Instructor to join our team. As a full-time faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching university transfer courses in Economics to students in a variety of formats, including online, hybrid, and seated.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach Principles of Microeconomics and Principles of Macroeconomics courses
  • Develop and prepare lesson plans and schedule classroom activities
  • Coordinate adoption of textbooks with other faculty
  • Develop and prepare supplement materials to enhance lectures
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
  • Oversee the implementation of policies and procedures related to required teaching area and in accordance with CFCC policies and guidelines
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Economics from a regionally accredited college or university
  • Ability to interpret and apply College goals, objectives, policies, procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
