  • Independently care for a group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards.
  • Delegate appropriate patient care activities to other members of the healthcare team.
  • Perform the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Certifications and Licensures:
    • BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required
    • RN (Registered Nurse) license is required
    • ACLS Certification, if required by department
    • Nurse Specialty certification is preferred
  • Education:
    • Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required
    • Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred
  • Experience:
    • 1 year of RN experience in acute care or 6 months RN experience in acute care with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment is required
