We are seeking a skilled Cardiothoracic Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Palm Health Resources in Raleigh, NC. As a key member of our cardiothoracic team, you will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide 24/7 in-house care to patients in the cardiothoracic stepdown and clinic areas
- Work collaboratively with our existing inpatient NPs to care for floor and stepdown patients during business hours
- Round on patients, respond to issues or questions from nurses, review orders and charts, and prep patients for discharge
- Perform H&Ps and consults as needed
- Advanced Practice Provider (APP) with experience in cardiothoracic care
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
