Job Title: Theatre Technician I/II

Join the City of Aspen team as a Theatre Technician I/II, responsible for assisting with the technical aspects of productions and events at the Wheeler Opera House. This role involves working closely with the Production Manager, Assistant Production Manager, Building Manager, and House Manager to ensure a smooth and successful event.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with load-ins, load-outs, and technical aspects of productions
  • Maintain production-related records and reports
  • Collaborate with production team to ensure a high-quality event

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in technical production or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Email
  • Valid Colorado Driver's License

Work Environment:

The Wheeler Opera House is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing situations. The successful candidate will be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a variety of settings, including indoors and outdoors.
