Job Responsibilities

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality care to residents in post-acute facilities. This includes:

  • Providing nursing care and support to residents
  • Measuring and monitoring vital signs, reporting to your supervisor as necessary
  • Observing and reporting any concerns or changes in resident condition
  • Assisting with activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene and mobility
  • Cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, maintaining a safe and hygienic environment
Qualifications and Skills

To be successful as a Certified Nursing Assistant, you'll need:

  • A current Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • Understanding of nursing care procedures and related medical terminology
  • Effective organization and communication skills
  • The ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
