At Powers Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting our Pharmacists in filling prescriptions, interpreting medication orders, and preparing medications for distribution.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Assist Pharmacists in filling prescriptions and preparing medications for distribution.
  • Interpret and transcribe physicians' orders into the computer, enter charges, and perform associated duties.
  • Work under the general supervision of a Staff Pharmacist and follow precise procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless operation of the pharmacy.

**Requirements:**

  • A High School Diploma is required.
  • Previous experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy for a minimum of 2 years, completion of a technician training course is required.
  • Must have basic typing skills.
  • A working knowledge of medication names and the ability to perform common pharmaceutical calculations is preferred.
  • State of Indiana licensure as a "Pharmacy Technician" or "Pharmacy Technician in Training" is required.
