Electrical Engineer II Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer II to contribute to the development of our company's products. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out assignments associated with research, design, development, documentation, and manufacture of company products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research, design, and development of electrical systems and components.
  • Translate technical guidance into usable data applicable to specific assignments.
  • Analyze, design, and develop analog and digital circuits.
  • Troubleshoot analog and digital circuitry using lab test and measurement equipment.
  • Develop Microprocessor firmware and PCB layout.
  • Develop Acceptance Test Procedures and other supporting documents for new products.
  • Prepare technical documentation, such as detailed test plans, test reports, technical manuals, etc.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical or electronic engineering.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Ability to troubleshoot analog and digital circuitry using lab test and measurement equipment.
  • Circuit design and layout using Altium Designer or similar program.
  • Good knowledge of C and assembly programming languages.
  • Solid understanding of electronic fundamentals for analog and digital hardware.
  • Excellent communication, technical writing, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to develop electronic hardware using a variety of microcontrollers.
  • Ability to work concurrently on multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of TSO certification process, testing to environmental standards and processes (RTCA DO-160G and MIL-STD-810G), and aerospace structured requirements development processes (SAE ARP 47454A, RCA DO-178, DO-254) preferred.
