We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Assistant - Utility Worker to join our team at The Washington Post. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our pressroom and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Waste Management: Collect and dispose of waste paper, recyclables, and other materials in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing floors, as well as cleaning equipment and machinery.
  • Supply Chain Support: Assist with the receipt and storage of supplies, including newsprint and cleaning materials.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate various pieces of equipment, including forklifts, hand trucks, and automated guided vehicles (AGVs).
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure the efficient operation of the pressroom and facilities.
Requirements:
