We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a 'CAN DO' attitude, and a willingness to work collaboratively with our team to achieve exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities- Operate heavy equipment, such as trucks, power cranes, shovels, and related machinery, to load and move materials, including dirt, rocks, and equipment.
- Adjust machine settings and indicate to ensure accurate grading and material placement.
- Conduct thorough pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure safety and mechanical integrity.
- Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and extended periods outdoors, in various weather conditions.
- Coordinate machine actions in response to hand or audio signals from crew members.
- Inspect, clean, maintain, and repair equipment using mechanics' hand tools.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies, performing additional duties as required.
- 5 years of experience in the civil construction industry.
- 5 years of verifiable experience in equipment operations.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including drug screen and background check.
