Job Title: Financial Relationship Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Financial Relationship Consultant to join our team at Citizens Trust Bank. As a key member of our financial center, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with our clients, and promoting our full range of financial services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized service to customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their financial goals and objectives, and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Process customer transactions, including account openings, closings, and maintenance, as well as loan applications and other financial services.
  • Assist customers with accessing their safe deposit accounts, opening and closing safe deposits, and performing other related tasks.
  • Perform teller duties, including processing customer transactions, ordering cash from the Federal Reserve Bank, verifying cash received, and balancing vault cash.
  • Comply with all bank policies, procedures, and regulations, maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and adhering to our institution's values of Integrity, Collaboration, Innovation, Service Excellence, Respect, Accountability, and Leadership.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is preferred.
  • Prior banking experience is preferred, but not necessary.
  • Prior supervisory work experience is not necessary but preferred.
  • Extensive cash handling, which requires the ability to perform basic math functions.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to interact with various levels of employees and management.
  • Extensive contact with the public, necessitating the ability to present and remain professional.
  • The ability to make sound decisions, including making on-the-spot decisions regarding customer transactions, weighing customer satisfaction issues with the Bank's exposure to loss or fraud, and the ability to think through and rationalize decisions.
  • Ability to properly read and write well enough to communicate in both oral and written for in-depth knowledge of banking policies, procedures, and regulations to perform with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment with the ability to interact well with co-workers and management.
  • Must have the ability to demonstrate a sales initiative.
  • Need to have flexibility in scheduling and be able to multi-task.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds of force.
  • Ability to travel, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, reach, and stand for various lengths of time and meet other physical demands required to perform the job.
