Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Operations Manager to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy, ensuring efficient workflow, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage pharmacy operations, including supervising pharmacy technicians and cashiers, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve pharmacy workflow, customer experience, and team performance.
  • Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to ensure seamless execution of business administrative activities and pharmacy inventory management tasks.
  • Lead performance management of technicians, including making decisions and recommendations regarding discipline and termination.
  • Ensure proper procedures are followed for selection, recruitment, record retention, and training as required by Company policy and local, state and federal laws.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
  • One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous people management/ leadership experience.
  • Previous work experience with Walgreens with an Exceeding Expectation on last performance evaluation.
What We Offer

Walgreens offers a competitive salary range of $22.50 per hour - $31.00 per hour, depending on geography, skills, and experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
