Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. As a Restoration Technician, you will be responsible for conducting basic cleaning steps for fire, water, and mold damage, including wiping down, packing inventory control, wrapping goods, loading, and unloading vehicles. You will also perform production processes via work order and Project Manager instructions, monitor water restoration jobs via Reset Restoration used applications, and execute Water Damage Mitigation processes to minimize property damage and ensure a safe environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct basic cleaning steps for fire, water, and mold damage, including wiping down, packing inventory control, wrapping goods, loading, and unloading vehicles.
- Perform production processes via work order and Project Manager instructions.
- Monitor water restoration jobs via Reset Restoration used applications.
- Execute Water Damage Mitigation processes to minimize property damage and ensure a safe environment.
- Conduct Building Material Demolition when necessary, following established safety protocols and guidelines.
- Engage in Content Manipulation activities, carefully handling and relocating items affected by water damage.
- Implement Mold Remediation procedures, including the safe removal and remediation of mold-infested areas.
- Execute Structural Drying processes using specialized equipment to restore affected structures to optimal conditions.
- Undertake various tasks associated with homeowner property claims, demonstrating versatility and adaptability in addressing diverse restoration needs.
- Completion of daily note updates for tasked assignments.
- Maintain a clean workspace and company vehicle(s).
- Use of various tools to perform demolition and specialty cleaning.
Requirements
- No experience necessary, but is preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a thorough background check upon hire.
- Must be able to work a rotating 'on-call' schedule, demonstrating flexibility and availability to address emergencies as needed.
- Ability to properly and effectively wear Personal Protective Equipment for prolonged periods of time, such as a respirator, gloves, hardhat, etc.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to physically move items by lift/carry/push/pull.
- Ability to climb a ladder and work at ceiling heights.
- Ability to work in tight spaces, such as crawlspaces and attics.
- Willingness to work in potentially hazardous environments with the ability to work with various cleaning chemicals.
- Work well in a team environment and maintain punctuality.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
