Position Overview

Compensation: Hourly wage commensurate with experience. While prior experience is preferred, we are willing to train candidates who demonstrate a genuine passion for working with seniors.

Key Responsibilities

WELLNESS MANAGEMENT:

  1. Support the Wellness Director in managing resident medication and medical records in compliance with policies and regulations.
  2. Conduct regular checks on medication supplies and maintain Med Carts.
  3. Perform daily reviews of medication reorder sheets.
  4. Order and manage oxygen supplies as needed.
  5. Conduct weekly audits of Medication Administration Records (MAR) and report findings to the Wellness Director.
  6. Implement medication changes as directed by healthcare providers.
  7. Ensure proper documentation accompanies residents during medical appointments.

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT:

  1. Assist at the front desk, welcoming guests and managing inquiries.
  2. Handle incoming phone calls and provide necessary information.
  3. Facilitate orientation sessions for new hires.
  4. Maintain records of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and schedule training sessions.
  5. Track certifications for CPR and First Aid.
  6. Support the Executive Director with employee file audits.
  7. Assist in scheduling care staff and managing shift changes.
  8. Ensure necessary forms are readily available for staff use.
  9. Participate in on-call duties as required.
  10. Conduct tours for prospective residents and families when needed.
Qualifications
  1. Minimum age of 18 years.
  2. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  3. Clear criminal background check.
  4. Physical examination by a licensed physician.
  5. Negative drug screening results.
  6. Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  7. Professional attire is mandatory.
  8. Effective communication skills are essential for interaction with residents, families, and staff.
  9. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
  10. Awareness of safety protocols regarding infectious materials and emergency situations.
