Compensation: Hourly wage commensurate with experience. While prior experience is preferred, we are willing to train candidates who demonstrate a genuine passion for working with seniors.
Key ResponsibilitiesWELLNESS MANAGEMENT:
- Support the Wellness Director in managing resident medication and medical records in compliance with policies and regulations.
- Conduct regular checks on medication supplies and maintain Med Carts.
- Perform daily reviews of medication reorder sheets.
- Order and manage oxygen supplies as needed.
- Conduct weekly audits of Medication Administration Records (MAR) and report findings to the Wellness Director.
- Implement medication changes as directed by healthcare providers.
- Ensure proper documentation accompanies residents during medical appointments.
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT:
- Assist at the front desk, welcoming guests and managing inquiries.
- Handle incoming phone calls and provide necessary information.
- Facilitate orientation sessions for new hires.
- Maintain records of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and schedule training sessions.
- Track certifications for CPR and First Aid.
- Support the Executive Director with employee file audits.
- Assist in scheduling care staff and managing shift changes.
- Ensure necessary forms are readily available for staff use.
- Participate in on-call duties as required.
- Conduct tours for prospective residents and families when needed.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Clear criminal background check.
- Physical examination by a licensed physician.
- Negative drug screening results.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Professional attire is mandatory.
- Effective communication skills are essential for interaction with residents, families, and staff.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
- Awareness of safety protocols regarding infectious materials and emergency situations.
