Job Summary

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) plays a vital role in ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care in the Progressive Care Unit. This position requires a registered nurse with advanced cardiac life support certification, who can collaborate with the management team to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care. The CNC will assist with admission and discharge processes, participate in quality assessments, and support a patient-first philosophy.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing assessments of patient care services and collaborate with subject matter experts to create an environment of teamwork.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor in accordance with patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
  • Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.

Requirements

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse diploma or associate degree.
