The Operations Specialist in Shared Services plays a crucial role in managing and investigating loan-related items. The specialist will also engage with internal teams to facilitate the retrieval of checks or provide tracking information for expedited deliveries.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Execute job functions such as processing checks, managing payments, conducting maintenance, and performing basic analysis or research.
- May engage in financial transactions, including balancing accounts and processing wire transfers.
- Analyze and resolve issues concerning disbursements by reviewing system transactions, checks, reports, or written inquiries.
- Utilize computerized systems for tracking, information collection, and troubleshooting issues raised by clients or customers.
- Collaborate across multiple functional areas and with various clients.
- Ensure a high level of accuracy in handling checks.
- Maintain a secure environment for check processing.
Essential Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience in data entry and document processing.
- Effective oral and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
Compensation: $16.00-$16.50 per hour, based on experience
Compensation Range:
$15.50 - $24.03
Any posted compensation range reflects a broad spectrum of factors, including candidate experience, background, and work location, while also allowing for potential salary growth within the role.
