Interventional Radiology Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Interventional Radiology. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interventional radiologists to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Radiology and will be responsible for performing minimally invasive interventional techniques, conducting biopsy procedures, and serving as a liaison between patients, nursing staff, and referring physicians.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform interventional procedures, including blood vessel procedures, angiography, angioplasty, and stent placement.
- Conduct biopsy procedures, fibroid removal, and fluid/abscess drainage.
- Act as the first point of contact for referrals and patients, attending consultations, and performing initial examinations.
- Write pre-procedure orders and make recommendations under the guidance of the interventional radiologist.
- Serve as a liaison between patients, nursing staff, and referring physicians.
- Perform daily rounds, communicate patient progress, and orchestrate patient discharge.
- Make additional referrals for home care and perform follow-up visits.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Radiology.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS, ACLS required; PALS preferred.
- Experience with Epic software.
- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 with approved medical/religious exemption if applicable.
- NICOTINE-FREE requirement.
