Interventional Radiology Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Interventional Radiology Nurse to join our team at WellSpan York Hospital.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of procedures and tasks in an interventional laboratory setting, utilizing radiological technology to perform minimally invasive interventional techniques, including angiography, angioplasty, and stent placement, as well as biopsy procedures, fibroid removal, and fluid and abscess drainage.
Responsibilities:- Perform a variety of procedures and tasks in an interventional laboratory setting
- Utilize radiological technology to perform minimally invasive interventional techniques
- Conduct biopsy procedures, fibroid removal, and fluid and abscess drainage
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers
- 2 years of experience as an RN in Interventional Radiology
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
- Travelers requiring medical/religious exemption for the COVID-19 vaccine must be approved by their agency
Day shift 5x8hrs, Monday-Friday, preferred. Consideration for 4x9hrs schedule if needed. No call and no weekends.
Unit Specific Information:Specialty: RN in Interventional Radiology. Performs a variety of procedures and important tasks in an interventional laboratory setting.
Additional Details:NICOTINE-FREE FACILITY. Candidates with past license suspension will not be considered. All time off and/or scheduling requests must be included in the submission. Cannot consider candidates who have been employed as a perm hire at any WellSpan site within the year. Flu vaccine required from September 7 - April 30.
