Compensation Package

This position offers a competitive salary range of $18 - $35 per hour, or $1,080 - $2,100 per week based on location and experience.

In addition, we offer a one-time sign-on bonus of $2,500, as well as benefits including 401(k), dental insurance, employee assistance program, flexible spending account, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, referral program, and vision insurance.

Job Description

We are looking for a qualified mechanic to perform intermediate-level maintenance and repairs on gasoline and diesel engines, transmissions, air brakes, hydraulics, drive trains, and electrical systems.

The ideal candidate will have previous work experience and knowledge of working safely in a shop environment, as well as the ability to read and understand repair manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

They will also be able to perform physical requirements of the job, including prolonged physical exertions such as standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in awkward positions and tight areas.

Requirements
  1. Previous work experience with intermediate knowledge of gasoline and/or diesel engines, transmissions, air brakes, hydraulics, drive trains, and electrical systems.
  2. Employee provides own tools (or must acquire them within 90 days of employment).
  3. Knowledge of working safely in a shop environment and around different types of tools and equipment.
  4. Ability to read and understand repair manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics necessary to troubleshoot or repair vehicle or component failure.
  5. Ability to perform physical requirements of the job (prolonged physical exertions, including but not limited to standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in awkward positions and tight areas).
