**Job Overview**


Children's Health is a dynamic organization dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Health Specialist to join our team in Plano, Texas.


**About the Role**


This is a part-time position that requires 20 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will possess at least 2 years of experience in pediatrics or a related field and have a strong background in providing high-quality patient care.


**Responsibilities**



  • Provide direct clinical care to patients in an expanded role, guided by education, certification, licensure, clinical expertise, and prescriptive authority agreement or delegation protocol.
  • Conduct patient history and physical examinations, diagnose and manage patient health issues, and order necessary diagnostic tests.
  • Evaluate patient response to interventions and modify care plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Consult with other healthcare professionals, patients, and families to formulate and initiate health care plans.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**


The successful candidate will possess:



  • A graduate or professional degree in nursing or a related field.
  • Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Texas or a valid Compact RN license.
  • Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner, Maternal Child Clinical Nurse Specialist, or Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist by a national certifying body recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing.
  • At least 2 years of experience in pediatrics or a related field.
  • Advanced Practitioner primary care and inpatient exposure preferred.

**Benefits**


Children's Health offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide employee portion of medical plan premiums covered after 3 years, a 4%-10% employee savings plan match based on tenure, paid parental leave up to 12 weeks, caregiver leave, adoption and surrogacy reimbursement, and more.
