We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care to our pediatric patients.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working varied shifts in our pediatric department. As an LPN, you will work under the direction of a registered nurse or provider to provide direct and individualized nursing care to our patients. You will observe, report, and record medical information and nursing care provided in the electronic medical record. You will also instruct patients and families according to teaching plans and communicate with the healthcare team to facilitate the coordination of individualized patient care.

Requirements
  • Currently licensed to practice as a licensed practical nurse by the state of employment or holds a multistate LPN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required prior to completion of orientation.
