Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care, utilizing knowledge, skill, and judgment to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in patient/family/staff education, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Implement safe practices in all aspects of patient care and activities, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Maintain current knowledge and standards of professional nursing practices, staying up-to-date on the latest medical research and advancements.
  • Assist in quality process improvements, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in nursing (ADN) from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing, preferred.
  • Current RN license for the State of Texas or current compact state license.
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Experience working with electronic medical records systems.
  • Consistent work history and longevity with previous employers.
