About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Nutrition Assistant I to join our team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a Nutrition Assistant I, you will play a critical role in providing optimal nutritional care to our patients and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in and support all aspects of healthcare foodservice operations.
  • Work with facility staff to provide optimal nutritional care and demonstrate excellent customer service to patients, guests, and staff.
  • Follow healthcare foodservice industry standards, regulations, guidelines, and procedures, including monitoring and maintaining food temperatures during cooking, holding, and storage processes.
  • Prepare and serve food within guidelines of menu and dietary requirements using required kitchen utensils and equipment.
  • May be responsible for one or more of the following: cashiering, serving in the retail area, assembling, delivering, and retrieving patient trays, performing cold food prep, performing utility assignments, performing catering functions, and supporting inventory maintenance duties.
Requirements
  • No experience necessary.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Physical requirements: Medium Work - exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $18.00 to $26.05, depending on experience.
