Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Utilize effective communication skills to educate patients and their families about the testing process and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the exam.
  • Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Current certification in diagnostic medical sonography (RDMS) or a related field; ARRT certification also accepted.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
