At ST2 ManTech Advanced Systems Intl, we're seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Database Engineer/Administrator to join our team in Los Angeles, California.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, support, and maintain the organization's database systems, including hardware, software, and network components.
  • Implement and manage vendor or open-source database software.
  • Code and monitor database objects for optimal performance.
  • Provide day-to-day database administration support as needed.
  • Extract and load data.
  • Set up cybersecurity measures.
  • Update hardware and software as needed.
  • Authenticate data.
  • Monitor the performance of hardware and software.
  • Configure servers and databases.
  • Preserve data integrity.
  • Ethically handle private data, such as financial and healthcare data.
  • Troubleshoot and provide technical support to database system users.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School and 4 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 2 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree.
  • Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline. DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level-II Certification within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Development or related discipline. Experience working in an Agile development environment. DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level III Certification.
  • Relevant industry standard certifications such as Oracle, Microsoft or AWS.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must have an active Top Secret clearance and eligible for a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
