Position Overview:

APSI Construction Management is seeking a dedicated professional to oversee cost control services within our extensive project portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost management, ensuring the financial integrity of our projects.

Project Details:

Our current initiative involves a significant multi-year program aimed at replacing a medical facility that does not meet state seismic regulations. This comprehensive project includes various components such as outpatient facilities, support buildings, and utility installations. The program is well underway, with preliminary phases already initiated.

Key Responsibilities:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
1. Ensuring the quality of cost control services across the program.
2. Managing program budgets, tracking actual expenditures, and updating cost estimates.
3. Supervising and mentoring cost control staff, reviewing monthly invoices, and coordinating with fiscal departments.
4. Processing contract requests and approvals efficiently.
5. Preparing comprehensive cost tracking reports on a regular basis.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in cost control.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a senior cost control role within the healthcare construction sector is advantageous. A strong understanding of construction cost accounting principles, including budget setup, cost tracking, and change order management, is essential. Familiarity with project management information systems such as eBuilder, Procore, or Unifier is also preferred.
