In this role, you will be responsible for promoting corporate values and ensuring the efficient management of Renewables projects consistent with contractual requirements. Your duties will include evaluating and ensuring the efficient management of Renewables projects, engaging with project developers on proposals and hand-offs, and attending project meetings to ensure forward progress and identify risk potential. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining positive relationships with clients and other departments, supervisors, and stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely communications with internal and external stakeholders, and managing project deliverables and ensuring they are submitted complete, accurate, and in a timely manner. Additionally, you will support contract review, including general project information, scope, schedule, insurance and compliance requirements, award amount and total anticipated cost, and prepare quarterly financial forecasts and monthly updates. You will also be responsible for timely and accurate project billing and providing support to Accounts Payable as needed related to past-due payments, and for cost control on each project, ensuring that from award to completion, a solid knowledge of current financial status is known by effectively managing in-house budgets and costs (purchase orders, work orders, subcontracts) and change orders. Furthermore, you will be responsible for coordinating procurement of all materials, including strategic long lead items, to maintain and/or improve project budget and schedule, and for managing the client's expectations from hand-off, through contract execution and project completion. You will also be responsible for overseeing design, engineering, permitting, and interconnection progress based on project needs and information available, and for submitting accurate and timely design deliverables to client and AHJ, and submitting accurate and timely utility applications. To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Construction Science, Management, Engineering, or another related field, and a minimum of 4+ years of experience in construction management, particularly solar and/or electrical, with project management experience in government, DSA, Industrial, and/or military construction assignments preferred. You will also need excellent communication and organizational skills, and knowledge of alternative contracts and delivery methods a plus.
