ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work Schedule:

This position operates on a full-time first shift schedule.

Daily Tasks:

As a Facilities Maintenance Trainee, you will collaborate closely with our skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain all equipment and facilities in optimal condition. Your responsibilities will include assisting with routine preventative maintenance, performing hands-on repairs as directed, and proactively enhancing equipment performance. You will learn and apply safety protocols relevant to a manufacturing environment, conduct vehicle maintenance and inspections, and assist with steam boiler pipe upkeep, among other tasks.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience with electrical systems, pneumatics, and basic PLCs
  • Ability to operate vehicles such as trucks and forklifts
  • Familiarity with basic tools and maintenance disciplines
  • Understanding of hand tools, pumps, and electrical panels
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to follow instructions
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to perform various tasks and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Willingness to work in diverse weather conditions and environments
  • Ability to work around steam and alcohol odors
  • Excellent time management skills
