North American Partners in Anesthesia is seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiologist to join our team at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center. As a key member of our anesthesia department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading our team of anesthesiologists and support staff.
Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate activities in the Anesthesia Department to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operations.
- Provide medical management of patients undergoing surgery and other medical procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments, obtain and verify patient consent, and discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients.
- Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from anesthesia, monitoring their physiological condition and performing clinical interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal outcomes.
Requirements
- MD/DO degree from an accredited College of Medicine.
- ECFMC and FLEX certification.
- Completion of an approved residency in anesthesia.
- Current licensure as a physician.
