Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive therapeutic services to individuals of all ages in the Lubbock area. As an OT with Soliant, you will play a vital role in helping patients overcome physical, developmental, or emotional challenges and achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical, cognitive, sensory, and emotional capabilities and limitations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals.
  • Implement therapeutic activities and interventions to enhance patients' abilities in daily tasks, including self-care, fine motor skills, coordination, and cognitive function.
  • Recommend and provide training on adaptive equipment to promote independence and safety.
  • Collaborate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document all interventions accurately and thoroughly.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, home exercise programs, and strategies for continued progress outside of therapy sessions.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current New Mexico state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations across the lifespan is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of various occupational therapy techniques and interventions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
  • A compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy, dedicated to delivering high-quality care.
