Talent Acquisition Specialist

Overview:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for understanding the staffing and onboarding requirements of KidsPeace Children's Hospital's Foster Care and Community Programs (FCCP). This role involves utilizing regulations, metrics, and maintaining regular communication with HR and FCCP leadership.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience is essential, with a focus on high-volume recruitment across multiple locations. Experience in mental and behavioral health is preferred.
• Proficiency in computer applications, combined with strong empathy, effective communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, self-initiative, critical thinking, and adaptability to changing priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily reviews of staff vacancies, clarify job requirements, and ensure a robust pipeline of qualified candidates.
• Collaborate with Creative Services to create effective materials for social media outreach. Engage with the Engagement Manager for insights on staff engagement.
• Screen candidates and facilitate the interview process with hiring managers for qualified applicants.
• Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring the integrity and compliance of the hiring procedures.
• Continuously develop and manage the overall recruiting strategy for FCCP to align with current economic demands.
• Organize and manage hiring events, including job fairs and career days, while fostering relationships to maintain a viable candidate pool.
• Manage the applicant tracking system for assigned clients, educating them on the requisition process to meet departmental needs.
• Provide metric reports as necessary to the head of Recruiting.
• Assist hiring managers in creating and implementing training tools and selection processes.
