Talent Acquisition Specialist

Position Overview: The role involves maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the staffing and onboarding requirements for the KidsPeace Foster Care and Community Programs (FCCP) through adherence to regulations, metrics, and consistent communication with HR and FCCP leadership.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience is essential, particularly in high-volume recruitment across various locations. Experience in mental/behavioral health is advantageous.
• Proficiency in computer applications, combined with strong empathy, inclusive communication abilities, exceptional organizational skills, self-initiative, critical thinking, and adaptability to shifting priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily reviews of staffing vacancies, clarify job requirements, and generate a robust pool of qualified candidates.
• Collaborate with Creative Services to produce suitable materials for social media outreach. Engage with the Engagement Manager for insights on staff engagement.
• Screen candidates and manage the interview process alongside hiring managers.
• Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring the integrity of the hiring protocol is upheld.
• Continuously develop and refine the overall recruiting strategy for FCCP to align with current economic conditions.
• Manage hiring events, including job fairs and college career days, while fostering relationships to cultivate a viable candidate pool.
• Administer the applicant tracking system for your designated clients, educating them on the requisition process to ensure alignment with departmental needs.
• Provide necessary metric reports to the head of Recruiting.
• Assist hiring managers in creating and implementing training tools and selection criteria.
