The Site Security Coordinator role is essential for projects lacking a Security Site Manager (SSM) to support the designated officer overseeing managed projects.

The SSC will collaborate with Department of State officials, align security measures with primary project stakeholders, and deliver comprehensive reports to Security Operations based in Washington DC.

This role demands outstanding administrative capabilities, including computer proficiency, effective multitasking, and a solid grasp of the Security Management Program.


Key Responsibilities:


The SSC is responsible for maintaining a meticulous daily log of various construction activities and preparing written reports for the Regional Security Officer and Washington DC Desk Officer for evaluation.

Coordinate security protocols and other essential requirements with primary project stakeholders.

Provide detailed reports back to Security Operations in Washington DC.

Personnel with expertise in both Construction and Guard disciplines will be expected to engage and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with Embassy personnel.


Qualifications:


ACTIVE Top Secret Clearance is mandatory.

Current CST and/or CAG certification is required.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in security and/or construction roles.

Site Security Coordinators must possess at least 3 years of experience within the CSM Program.

Must hold and maintain a Top-Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance.

Must be in good physical health and meet the medical standards for the position.


The SSC should be knowledgeable in both guard and construction surveillance functions, although certification in both is not a prerequisite.


The SSC must demonstrate independent decision-making abilities, possess a high level of initiative, and be capable of working with minimal supervision.
