We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Palliative Care team at Virginia Mason Medical Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive care to patients and families dealing with serious illnesses.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in our outpatient clinic and hospital settings.
- Collaborate with our interprofessional team, including physicians, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to address the unique needs of each patient.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in education and training initiatives to enhance your skills and knowledge in palliative care.
- Current licensure as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) in the State of Washington.
- Experience in palliative care or a related field, with a strong understanding of the principles and practices of patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
