About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated RN to take on the role of Care Coordinator within our Oncology department. This position involves overseeing care coordination, delivering quality education, providing follow-up support, and offering emotional assistance to a diverse group of patients undergoing systemic cancer treatments such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and hormonal therapy.

In this role, you will work closely with healthcare providers and the broader health system to facilitate timely diagnosis and treatment, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive support throughout their healthcare journey.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

  • An Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, to be obtained within five years for those starting in this RN role
  • Completion of the Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certificate course for RNs in relevant departments
  • Preferred certification in Oncology Nursing (OCN) or other applicable specialties
  • Experience in Oncology is strongly preferred
