New Story Schools is looking for a qualified Special Education Teacher to support and guide our emotional support students. In this role, you will be essential to the academic and personal growth of our students while managing the classroom team and fostering a positive environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) process, including development, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement effective educational services.
- Provide leadership and direction to classroom staff.
- Ensure confidentiality of student information in accordance with agency policies and regulations.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months experience working with children with behavioral or learning disorders (student teaching hours included)
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or Education
- Preferred: Master's degree in Special Education
Licenses & Certifications
- Required: PA Teacher License
- Preferred: Special Education Certification
