Job Title: Receiver/Material Handler

Job Summary:

Insulet Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and performance-driven Material Handler to join our expanding team. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the receipt and shipment of incoming materials, supplies, and finished goods. You will be responsible for verifying items against shipment records, labeling components for in-house use, and ensuring that all material movements are handled in accordance with applicable FDA and cGMP procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and verify incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality control
  • Label and store components for in-house use, maintaining organized inventory systems
  • Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently
  • Communicate with suppliers and internal teams regarding shipment discrepancies and missing paperwork
  • Notify departments of incoming shipments and assist with locating items within the warehouse
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and procedures
  • Perform other duties as required, including general housekeeping and maintenance tasks

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment, preferably in Distribution, Receiving, or Manufacturing Support
  • Prior forklift experience and ability to pass company standards for operating forklifts and power jacks
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics/AX software or ability to learn Microsoft AX Materials Management module

Working Conditions:

This is a second shift role, working 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm, M-F. The position is eligible for additional shift differential. Must be able to lift and transfer loads up to 50 lbs, stand and bend for up to 8 hours a day, and safely operate electric and manual pallet jacks. This position requires on-site working.
