Job Title: MRI Technologist

CrossMed Allied is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Tacoma, Washington.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced MRI Technologist to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, preparing patients for scans, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Prepare patients for scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and patient areas
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • At least 1-2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist
  • Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology
  • Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
  • Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment, pushing, bending, and pulling
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
